I feel like Nagisa would say goodbye in his own creative, sentimental way
While his classmates’ names are called Kevin can’t help but watch their families in the audience. He finds himself focusing mainly on the moms, watching their faces glow with pride. Some snap pictures, some cry, while others cheer. His eyes sting, ‘Mom would have yelled the loudest’, he thinks as he makes his way across the stage. It’s been years since she died but his eyes begin to mist when he finally receives his diploma.
‘She’s missing this’.
Making his way off stage he looks out at the audience and can’t stop a surprised laugh as he finds three familiar faces in the crowd. There in the fourth row, Dean, standing on his chair waving and cheering at the top of his lungs while Sam’s face alternates between “bitch face” and beaming proudly. Beside them Cas is smiling softly and taking what seems like frame by frame pictures of his uneventful walk down the stairs and back to his seat. His mom may not be there, but the Winchesters are a cheering squad even Linda Tran would be proud of.
If there’s a grammar problem do a girl a favor and please please please correct it. I have the grammar skills of a four year old raised by wolves.
Thank you to the wonderful babyfox91 for correcting this for me!

Sometimes recovery is waking up early to write in coffee shops and practicing yoga and eating lots of fruit and chocolate and sometimes it’s staying in bed all day and hiding from the world until you can stop crying. All of this is okay. What’s important is that you take care of yourself no matter what kind of day you’re having.
